The footage was captured by a hidden camera installed by the daughter of David Nabulsi, the victim.

The grandfather suffers from dementia which added to the massive public uproar after the video went viral on social media.

According to ABC, Mr Paudyal’s family and friends were at the Manly Court today to support the 35-year-old man.

The Nepalese national pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Nabulsi last month. Reports said he wrote a letter of apology to the victim’s family but was not accepted.
