14 December 2018: NSW Police Force has not given up on the search for a 47-year-old man of Nepali origin who has been missing from Sydney’s south since September 10. Police say Mr Khadka was last seen about 5.45 pm on the day after he left his home on Bestic Street in Rockdale.
The southasia.com.au had earlier enquired with NSW Police Force requesting update on the missing Nepali man.
Police today issued a press statement reappealing members of the public for any information that may help them locate Mr Khadka.
“Since Mr Khadka was reported missing in September, officers from St George Police Area Command have conducted extensive inquiries into his whereabouts, including a search of the St George area on Thursday 13 September 2018, with the assistance of PolAir, Police Rescue and NSW State Emergency Services, however Mr Khadka was not located,” NSW Police Force said in the press statement which southasia.com.au obtained prior to being posted on the police website.
“Police and his family hold serious concerns for his welfare, as he has not been seen since first being reported missing and his disappearance is out of character,” police further said.
Mr Khadka is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance and about 170cm tall and of thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black short sleeved jacket, orange and black striped short sleeved shirt, black long pants, and brown striped boots.
Assistance from the public is essential to missing persons investigations, and anyone with information about Mr Khadka’s whereabouts is urged to come forward.
