Shot fired into Harris Park eatery in Sydney’s west

A single bullet was fired into an Indian restaurant at Harris Park in Sydney’s west at around 9 pm yesterday evening.

According to NSW Police, 30-40 customers were inside the venue at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, police assured.

Police suspect the shot was fired into the Wigram Street eatery by someone on foot.

“The bullet went through the front window of the restaurant and hit a shelf,” a police statement said.

According to the statement, a male wearing a blue tracksuit was seen running south on Wigram Street after the incident.
