Sexual assault on young Sydney woman, police release E-fit

NSW Police have released the E-fit of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with inquiries into the sexual assault on a young woman at Miranda in Sydney.The attack on the 19 year old took place at 3 am on 15 March.

“About 3am on Sunday 15 March 2015, a 19-year-old woman was on Kiora Road when she was confronted by a man who pushed her to the ground and threatened her with a knife,” police said on 23 March. The perpetrator sexually assaulted the woman before he stole her wallet, police added.

Security staff of a nightclub near the crime scene informed the police at Miranda Local Area Command who commenced investigation into the incident. According to the police, the man was last seen walking south along Kiora Road.

“The man has been described as having a dark complexion with a solid build, closely cropped hair, and a neck mole. He was last seen wearing a three-quarter length sleeved black shirt and longer style shorts,” police said in a press statement.
